REGISTERED DIETITIAN: Capernaum is looking for an outpatient pediatric registered dietitian to work 8 hours a week in our clinic serving children with medically complex conditions. This position will assess nutrition needs, identify nutritional requirements according to age and disease, determine nutritional diagnosis, develop and implement nutrition plans of care, evaluate and monitor the outcomes of medical nutrition therapy intervention, and provide nutrition education and support to patients and families to accomplish patient goals.  

This role will have a focus on tube feeding optimization and tube weaning, in addition to developing blended diets. The position has an opportunity for growth. The ideal candidate is independent, takes initiative, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary staff of feeding therapists, is a strong advocate for families, and is a good communicator with children and families!  

Qualifications & Requirements:  

Bachelor’s Degree 

Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.

Completion of a coordinated program in Dietetics, dietetic internship, or approved pre-professional practice program. Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required.  

Licensed in Minnesota.

Pediatric experience is required.  

Experience with tube feedings is required.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST: Capernaum is looking for a flexible, organized, creative SLP with a servant’s heart! Our open position is 16-18 hours per week in our Richfield clinic. An additional 2 days is available in schools if desired (and if the candidate has a license from MDE); other opportunities may also arise. The perfect candidate must be compassionate, a team player and a great communicator, and enjoy working with children! Dual licensure (MDH and MDE) and feeding experience are beneficial. 1-2 years experience preferred. Please refer to the contact information below.
