THERAPY SERVICES
Feeding and Nutrition
Capernaum offers feeding and nutrition services in our clinic!
Family-centered nutrition services improve the quality of life, growth, and development of children, especially those with diagnoses that significantly affect what or how they can eat. Speech-language pathology and occupational therapy provide feeding therapy for sensory and oral motor issues. We serve children with a variety of needs, including:
- Feeding Tube Management: Capernaum’s Tube Weaning Program works collaboratively with physicians and our speech and OT therapists to assess the child’s stage in the tube-feeding process, work with the family to optimize tube feedings, support blended diets, and, if appropriate, assist with weaning off the tube.
