
Therapist Qualifications
Speech Therapist:
- Education Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
- License Requirements: Licensed with the State of Minnesota Department of Health (temporary license, if CFY), American Speech and Language Certification, and membership (CCC) is preferred.
- Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat children with speech/language/feeding delays/disorders; consultation and parent education; documentation of all services provided in a timely and professional manner; and compliance with ASHA code of ethics and State of MN practice guidelines.
- Experience: Pediatric experience is required. Outpatient and feeding experience is preferred.
Occupational Therapist:
- Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science or Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- License Requirements: Licensed with the State of Minnesota Department of Health; certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat children with sensory/motor/ADL/feeding delays/disorders; consultation and parent education; documentation of all services provided in a timely and professional manner; and compliance with AOTA’s code of ethics and MN state guidelines.
- Experience: Pediatric experience is required. Feeding experience is preferred.
Physical Therapist:
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- License Requirements: Licensed with the State of Minnesota Department of Health.
- Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat children with neurological and orthopedic delays/disorders; consultation and parent education; documentation of all services provided in a timely and professional manner; and compliance with APTA’s code of ethics and MN state guidelines.
- Experience: Pediatric experience is required.
